Following the successful launch of our inaugural Augsburg Football Camp in 2025, Travel without Borders, in partnership with CW Sports Travel, is delighted to announce the dates for our 2027 Augsburg Football Camp Experience, taking place from Sunday 27 June to Saturday 3 July 2027.

Once again, participants will benefit from coaching delivered by the experienced team at AuxPro Football School, combined with a varied programme of football, sightseeing and cultural experiences in one of Bavaria’s most historic cities. For 2027, the programme will feature a new 3-star superior hotel together with enhanced training facilities, while retaining many of the popular highlights from our inaugural camp.

You’ll be able to experience the history of these famous German football stadiums with stadium tours of both the famous WWK Arena, home of FC Augsburg and the Allianz Arena, the Bayern Munich FC Stadium.

About Augsburg and Bavaria

Augsburg, the third largest city in Bavaria, was founded by the Romans and is one of the oldest cities in Germany. Located on the Romantic Road it offers a splendid location and numerous places of interest. Alongside these tourist attractions, Augsburg is home to one of the older and more famous football clubs: FC Augsburg which is the largest club in Swabian Bavaria.

Being located in Bavaria means they are part of a region with a rich history in Germany. Bavaria has a huge historical association with football, being home to a number of hugely famous and successful football clubs. The biggest local derbies in German football take place in Bavaria, including The Munich Derby, The Bavaria Derby between FC Bayern and FC Nürnberg, the Augsburg-Ingolstadt derby and the local derby between FC Augsburg and TSV Schwaben Augsburg

Augsburg is a city of history and culture with attractions and things to see. For example, Augsburg’s Water Management System was recently granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 2019. Things to do in Augsburg include an open-air swimming pool with giant slide, table tennis, sanded area with beach: football, basketball & volleyball, the large City Galerie shopping centre in addition to the city centre shops; nightclubs, bars, restaurants and beer gardens. 2027 Augsburg Football Camp

2027 Programme

Sunday 27 June – Saturday 3 July 2027

Our 2027 Augsburg Football Camp Experience is designed primarily for boys and girls aged 14–17 years who enjoy football and would like to develop their skills while experiencing life and culture in Germany. The camp is open to individual participants, friendship groups and football clubs from across the United Kingdom and other countries. If you are slightly outside the recommended age range but are interested in taking part, please contact us, as we may still be able to accommodate your individual circumstances.

Participants will spend six nights in a comfortable 3-star superior hotel, with breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal included each day. Throughout the week, they will enjoy a varied programme combining football coaching, cultural excursions and social activities, supported throughout by English-speaking tour managers.

A structured programme of football coaching sessions
Friendly match and barbecue with a local German football club (subject to availability)
Guided sightseeing tour of Augsburg
Excursion to Munich
Guided tour of the WWK Arena, home of FC Augsburg
Visit to the Allianz Arena and the FC Bayern Museum
Welcome meeting and introductory briefing

Practical advice on suitable flights to and from Munich Airport
Optional German language lessons (available at an additional cost)

Please note: The camp will take place from Sunday 27 June to Saturday 3 July 2027. Whilst these dates are fixed, individual activities, coaching staff, fixtures and excursion timings may occasionally change. Optional German language lessons are available at an additional cost and subject to availability.

Our football camps are designed for youths aged 8 to 17 years, offering professional training with top teams and coaches.

Beyond the pitch, participants gain life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and respect, along with lessons on the importance of good nutrition.

Important Notes

For GROUPS the 2027 football programme described can be adapted to suit your needs – choose your preferred dates and number of nights.

We recommend booking well ahead in order to get the best possible price, as flight prices are fluid.

We cannot guarantee an exact match with your football team in terms of level and age, but we will definitely try our best and the possibilities are greater the earlier you book.

If you would like to add other (not participating in football training) participants to join this tour and/or participants wish to extend their stay, please enquire.

Opening days cannot be guaranteed for all of the facilities in Augsburg, they are dependent on days of the week of the tour.
