About Augsburg and Bavaria

Augsburg, the third largest city in Bavaria, was founded by the Romans and is one of the oldest cities in Germany. Located on the Romantic Road it offers a splendid location and numerous places of interest.​ Alongside these tourist attractions, Augsburg is home to one of the older and more famous football clubs: FC Augsburg which is the largest club in Swabian Bavaria.

​Being located in Bavaria means they are part of a region with a rich history in Germany. Bavaria has a huge historical association with football, being home to a number of hugely famous and successful football clubs. The biggest local derbies in German football take place in Bavaria, including The Munich Derby, The Bavaria Derby between FC Bayern and FC Nürnberg, the Augsburg-Ingolstadt derby and the local derby between FC Augsburg and TSV Schwaben Augsburg

The sample group football package can be adapted to suit your needs – choose your preferred dates and number of nights.
We recommend booking well ahead in order to get the best possible price, as flight prices are fluid.
We cannot guarantee an exact match with your football team in terms of level and age, but we will definitely try our best and the possibilities are greater the earlier you book.
If you would like to add other participants to this tour and/or participants wish to extend their stay, this is also possible.
